Napkin art
Creative design through napkin art is so simple. Anyone can do it just like that - in next to no time, creating fancy results using simple patterns and symbols
You will need:
-
Aqua varnish (either gloss, silk-matt or matt).
- various napkins
-
1 bristle brush
- 1 glass of water
- 1 pair of scissors
-
possibly a coloured acrylic paint as a base
You can use napkin
art to decorate a lot of different objects:
- gift boxes
- plastic
baubles - separable ones
- glasses
- lanterns
- cards
-
candles
- bottles
- plain books - e.g. calendars and diaries
Instructions:
Usually, your napkin will be
triple-ply, but you only use the uppermost layer in napkin art. Either
cut out your design or tear it.
Coat the object to be decorated with
clear varnish, and carefully place your cut-out piece of napkin onto the
wet varnish and then immediately brush over it once more very carefully
with varnish, brushing from the middle to the edge. Leave to dry
thoroughly.
Napkin art and edding paint markers
There
are many different ways of using edding paint markers in napkin art.
When you apply your piece of napkin to the surface during napkin art, it can sometimes be the case that the napkin shifts slightly, meaning that the edges no longer look the same. To help avoid this, it helps to draw an outline around your cut-out, drawn on in a suitable colour using an edding paint marker.
Also, you may obviously also like to apply additional inscriptions to greetings cards, for example. Again, the edding paint markers are ideal because their ink is permanent and waterproof on virtually all materials. What's more, the ink has an opaque quality ideal so really shows up on dark and transparent materials.
The edding paint markers enjoy a high market share and are the most widely sold paint markers in Germany. The edding paint markers come in a host of different stroke widths and in up to 14 colours, including the much loved metallic colours of gold, silver and copper. They are ideal for designing and writing on paper, cardboard, glass, metal, plastic, wood, stone, terracotta and many other materials. eren Materialien.
