Terracotta
Terracotta is the name used to describe baked, unglazed clay objects such as vessels, and is also used in plastics and architectural ceramics. Terracotta is made from ferrous red or from calcareous yellowish clay.
Objects made from terracotta have a natural-warm tone and are highly durable. They are waterproof and resistant to frost.
There is a host of edding markers available for the decoration of terracotta and other ceramic items
