Glass
Glass is a hard, brittle, inorganic material. Predominantly non-crystalline, glass has no defined melting point, but transforms into a soft - and ultimately liquid - state with increasing heat.
Glass has low thermal conductivity and high electrical resistance. It can be shaped by casting, blowing, pressing and rolling.
We come across glass in all manner of different guises: in the form of bottles, lanterns, candle holders, vases, windows, as protective panels for photo frames, mirrors and much, much more.
Glass has a sealed surface and can be drawn on with many edding markers.
