Cotton
Cotton is a natural fibre acquired from the seeds of the cotton plant (genus: Gossypium). The fibres are spun into thin threads, from which textiles are made.
Compared with synthetic fibres, cotton is highly absorbent and is capable of absorbing up to 80 % of its weight in water. Cotton is very kind to the skin.
We find cotton in various different guises: t-shirts, table cloths, place mats, shopping bags, cushion covers, lampshades, and much more.
Cotton materials can be dyed or painted in many different ways. The edding textile markers are extremely well suited to this.
